NEW REALITY

A computer genius is the hapless target of a gang of racist bullies. To deal with this he writes a computer program to change reality. When he initiates it by accident, things don't work out quite as he expects...

Completed August 2000, as David's University Graduation film, it combines kung fu action with visual effects (done by talented 2D/3D animator and effects artist Warren Liang).

Screened at the Toronto Reel Asian International Film Festival November 2000.

FRAGMENTS

When some old high school friends come to visit Lisa (played by Abigail Bianca), it triggers off recurring nightmares and prompts her to seek professional help. When she does so, it leads to a tragic discovery...

Inspired by a true story, Fragments is a powerful and confronting film, which is as inspiring as it is tragic.

Fragments was shot in four days by DOP Dave Haldiman, on location in Sydney. Wayne Goodwin, a talented composer whose body of work includes four features scored the film and played nine violin parts himself.

Fragments screened at the Sydney Asia Pacific Film Festival 2000.

FOR HONOUR OR MONEY

"Tropfest is coming up and it's ten thousand dollars for Jam..."

Follow the adventures of two would be filmmakers as they decide whether its more important to make a film for honour or money...

For Honour was shot in two days by talented DOP Chris Davies, and cut by legend editor Adrian Barac of Montage Productions. Warren Liang supplied the music and sound effects.

Screened as part of "Best of the Rest" at Tropfest 2000

FINAL FIGHT

Mr Black has kidnapped Guy's girlfriend Jessica. With Cody by his side, Guy goes out for revenge in this martial arts comedy fest based loosely on the characters from the game Final Fight.

Shot over four days up at the Central Coast, this is kung fu at it's best.

This is David's first film, and demonstrates an ability to deliver action fight scenes to rival professional choreographies.

Winner of Best Feature Film Awards at Houston, Philadelphia, Tampa and Oklahoma film festivals. Sandstorm, A story of retribution and the power of the spirit. David was Cinematographer and editor on this drama set in China. It is based on real incidents which reveal the tragedy of the Falun Dafa persecution in China as seen through the eyes of a perpetrator.
